Contriver Node Atlas

Contriver Node Atlas turns a Fusion design into a readable, interactive node graph — helping you understand, inspect, edit, and reuse the parametric structure inside your model. In v1.1.0, Node Atlas moves beyond visualization. You can now edit supported feature parameters directly from the graph, package parametric Fusion documents as reusable Script Nodes, and execute those modules into other designs with configurable parameters.Visualize design logicNode Atlas maps key relationships inside your Fusion model: parameters driving features, sketches anchoring geometry, construction references, bodies produced by operations, joints, components, and more. The result is an interactive dependency graph that helps you see how a design is built, what depends on what, and where changes may affect the model.Use upstream and downstream tracing to understand design intent before making edits. Apply filters, saved views, focus tools, and manual edges to organize complex models and explain parametric structure to collaborators, students, clients, or future users of the file.Edit features from the graphClick a supported feature node — including extrude, revolve, fillet, chamfer, shell, sweep, and hole features — and edit its available parameters directly from the Node Atlas inspector.Changes write back to the Fusion timeline immediately, allowing you to adjust important model features without hunting through the timeline or switching between multiple panels.Script Node LibraryThe Script Node Library lets you turn a parametric Fusion document into a reusable design module.Package: Open a parametric .f3d file in Fusion and choose Package active document in Node Atlas. Node Atlas captures the parameter schema and exports the design geometry into a local Script Node package.Execute: Open a target design, choose a Script Node, configure its parameters, and click Execute. Node Atlas inserts the packaged design as a named component, applies the configured parameter values, and recomputes the model.Edit: After execution, Script Node parameters remain editable from the Node Atlas interface, giving you direct control over the inserted parametric module.Share: Export Script Nodes as .zip packages and import them into another Node Atlas library. Script Nodes are stored locally and do not require a cloud account.Restore control: When a Script Node has already been placed in a design, Node Atlas can detect the existing instance and restore parameter control from the library view. Built for parametric designers and instrument makers Node Atlas was developed at Contriver Guitars for computational lutherie — building instruments where scale length, fretboard geometry, neck taper, body contours, and construction details are driven by parametric relationships. It is also useful for product designers, educators, Fusion power users, and anyone working with complex parametric timelines that need to be understood, edited, reused, or explained. What's New in v1.1.0 Feature parameter editing — edit supported extrude, revolve, fillet, chamfer, shell, sweep, and hole parameters directly from the node inspector Script Node Library — package, execute, import, export, and manage reusable parametric Fusion modules Pre-execution parameter overrides — configure Script Node parameter values before inserting a module into a design Post-execution parameter editing — adjust inserted Script Node parameters after placement Instance detection — re-opening a Script Node can restore control over an existing placed instance Collision warning — clear warning when a Script Node instance already exists, with an update path ZIP-based sharing — export and import complete Script Node packages Refresh-needed indicator — Node Atlas now indicates when the Fusion timeline has changed and the graph should be refreshed
